Nutella Stuffed Cookie Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup white sugar

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • 6 -8 scoops Nutella (for filling, frozen)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Nutella
    Scoop 6 - 8 portions of Nutella onto a tray or parchment paper and place them in the freezer while you prepare the dough.

  2. Make the dough
    In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth and fluffy.

  3. Add wet ingredients
    Mix in the vanilla extract, egg, and egg yolk until fully combined.

  4. Mix dry ingredients
    In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

  5. Combine
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  6. Add Nutella filling
    Add the frozen Nutella balls into each chocolate chip dough portion, wrapping the dough around them so they are fully covered.

  7. Prepare for baking
    Place the filled cookie dough balls onto a baking-safe dish, tray, or plate of your choice.

  8. Bake
    Preheat the oven to 360°F (182°C). Bake for about 12 minutes, or until lightly golden.

  9. Cool and serve
    Let the cookies cool slightly, then top each warm cookie with a scoop of your favorite ice cream. Enjoy the melty Nutella center and creamy ice cream together!

Tips

  • Make sure your dish or plate is oven-safe.

  • Leave space between cookies so they don’t spread into each other.

  • Slightly underbake for a soft, gooey center.
